Three departments carry the work of a Sunday. Each of them is somewhere you can serve.
The departments
A young church runs on few people doing a great deal. These three are the departments as they stand today, and each will grow.
Hospitality
They look after guest ministers, first-timers, visitors and members alike. If it is your first Sunday, this is the department that finds you, seats you and introduces you to somebody.
Drama
They interpret the vision and the statements of faith of the church to the congregation, so that what is taught is also seen.
Joining a department
You do not need a gift you have already proved. Willingness and turning up is most of it.
- 1See the Pastor after the service and say which department interests you.
- 2Sit in on a rehearsal or a meeting before you commit to anything.
- 3Start serving on a Sunday when you and the department are both ready.
